This review is from: iHome iP1 Studio Series Speaker System for iPod / iPhone
Pros: Nice, clear, crisp sound. Eye catching. Solid build.
Class D, Bi-Amp'd, 100 watts!!
Ergonomic design, mounted iPod flows, ...is not perched on top, waiting to be knocked off.
Cons: Ipod seat could use a little damping for the bass notes, I heard an annoying buzz noise. Turned out to be the physical iPod. Stopped it with a piece of cotton.
Other Thoughts: Sound quality is subjective. This is not audiophile equipment, but it's a hell of an iPod dock. Let it do, what it does, The DPS engagement is not just a loudness button. It enhance's highly compressed music, but its not going to make up for "bits of nothing" pretending to be music. I listened to the Bose Dock 10, B&W Zeppelin, and the Altec, over all I found the iP1 the best buy for my money!!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SAMSUNG 58" 1080p Plasma TV - PN58A550
Pros: Sold a Phillips 47" lcd to upgrade to this beast. Excellent picture, so natural. I thought I was living good with an HD LCD, then along came this beast... at the right price;). Picture control is excellent, scenes come to life. Tweak till your heart's content, in my case, it didn't take much tweaking to make me say WoW. I don't watch much TV but when I do, it's only 1080 for me. Currently using an up-convert dvd player, so there is probably room for improvement there, but I'm not complaining.
No regrets with this one. None!
Cons: Heavy, but then again I'm not walking around with it.
Other Thoughts: I can not comment on sound. From day one,the beast is used with dedicated home theater system. So the internal speakers are turned off.
Had slight humming issue at first, then I read the instructions. Included these metal rings to attach to power supply lines, bye, bye humming.
