Pros: did a budget build for someone, gave this a shot, with Asus B85M-G MB,
Intel 120GB 530 SSD. It boots so fast, the colored orbs never meet, the desktop begins to appear. With stock cooler it handles video editing with ease, max temp of 59C @full load. Performed perfectly under full stress test. Building a duplicate system as well. Just using the built-in graphics, which is excellent. If there's a better performance/cost CPU out there, I'd be surprised....buy it.
Other Thoughts: Intel hit a home run with this one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: looks pretty
Cons: board arrived completely dead, no lights or bios; tried 2 new PS,
but it is dead.
Other Thoughts: is there ANY quality control at ASUS these days?
this is ridiculous.
hope the replacement works, it's holding me up big time now.
This review is from: Netgear N900 Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Router with 3.5" Storage Bay (WNDR4700)
Pros: network drive function is terrific. Speed WAS good.
Pretty good wireless signal.
Cons: poor longevity, need to return after only 3 months.
NETGEAR RMA PROCESS SUCKS! After back-and-forth with 'tech support' for a week, they finally agreed to RMA, only try to process it online....cannot get past the 'I agree to the terms & conditions' page- click 'next' and nothing happens at all. FAIL! What a totally frustrating experience. Try to get someone on the phone-GOOD LUCK! I'll never buy another Netgear product, EVER. Support is awful and the product gets 2 stars
for lack of reliability.
Other Thoughts: I wanted to love this router, but I am sorry I sold my Apple!
This worked great for a time, but lately, streaming has been slow; found it was not my ISP....still getting 33Mbps at modem,
but only 20-22 max through the router, either with ethernet or wireless, and I was getting right around 30Mbps.
If anyone at Netgear is listening, you lost a customer with this poor quality and sub-par support.
