This review is from: AMS DS-3151SSBK Aluminum 3.5" Black SATA SATA SATA Backplane Module
Pros: Works well, fits 5 disks in 3 5.25" bays. Seems pretty durable for the money.
Cons: A lot of cases have shelves between the bays, which need to be removed to fit. That isn't really the cages fault though. The fan died after 3 years.
Other Thoughts: I've been using this for over 4 years without any issues. I've used it with 500MB drives through 2TB, with multiple sata controllers, including PERC/LSI SAS RAID controllers. The little lock switches broke on couple trays, but the levers are all fine on mine. I had to replace the fan at one point, but it only took a bit of solder and some time.
Never had an issue with hard disks failing or hot swapping causing issues.
This review is from: Rosewill RC-304 - 2-Port Parallel (SPP / PS2 / EPP / ECP) Universal PCI Card
Pros: Worked with Windows 7 x64, with drivers downloaded automatically! I'm using this to drive an LCD front display on an HTPC and was concerned about the EPP/ECP/SPP/etc "automatic" negotiation but it works like a champ.
Cons: None so far.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works great for an HTPC. I replace a Core2Duo/Nvidia 8500 setup (yeah, its pretty old) with this single chip and it generates a fraction of the heat. It runs at 800mhz until its under load then ramps up accordingly. I can play a Bluray and transcode 2 movies simultaneously (PlayOn to 360s for example) with no issues. Thats what I needed.
Cons: None for it's intended purpose.
Other Thoughts: Not a hardcore gaming CPU.READ FULL REVIEW
