Pros: looks nice, solid performance until the unit flaked out
Cons: After about a month and a half the unit began to flake out. When a device would request an address via dhcp, the router would keep assigning an address over and over. Windows computers would also see interim 169.254.xxx.xxx addresses. This happens to every device in the house:
1 wired computer
1 laptop with both wired and wireless (both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands) modes
3 wireless tablets
2 phones connecting to wifi
I've tried upgrading the firmware to ASUS' latest. Rebooting the router only sometimes helps. Even when things seem to be working, there will be moments where network traffic just stops -- at these times I can't even reach the router's set up page. I would also commonly see things like 7 IP addresses assigned to a single computer.
Other Thoughts: I have had good experiences with ASUS products in the past, so this was pretty disappointing.READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: Battle is fun. 8 characters to choose from and there is some overlap in their abilities. The crafting system is interesting. AI does not do stupid things.
Cons: Collecting materials for crafting ends up being something of a grind for rare drops, or you just plug through the story-line until you can purchase the mats from a store. Story-line is awful. AWFUL. Too many cut-scenes, and many of them are boring and way too long. Characters are very cliche and most of them are whiny and/or annoying. Occasionally in dungeons it is difficult to find a save-spot -- this is annoying when I've been playing for 45 minutes and someone comes home and suggests a movie, but it takes me another half-hour to find the next save-spot.
Other Thoughts: I've got around 50 hours sunk in to the game and I'm very close to the end. I have to say the worst thing about the game is the cut-scenes. Imagine, you beat a boss and are "treated" to a 5-minute cut-scene. You go back to your ship and head back in to space -- 10-minute cut-scene. You're given the opportunity to talk to some people during your ship's travel -- waste time or skip this step. You arrive at your destination -- 15-minute cut-scene. It's like someone said, "Hey, story is important!" and then they handed the writing off to some goob who didn't have a clue what he was doing and went waaaay overboard. This is compounded by the fact that most of the characters are just annoying. Seriously, I hope for bad things to happen to them instead of cheering them on.
At $16 it's not a bad value. I'll finish the game and check out the post-game. Honestly if not for the cut-scenes and annoying characters, I think this game would be a 4.
