Pros: VERY fast for everyday online browsing. I mainly needed this thing for this purpose since I needed a public access computer, but didn't have to worry about infections. For all intensive purposes, it meets every demand (whilst running Raspbian). Granted, not everyone would use the Pi 3 for this purpose, but it's nice to know it can handle it. The faster CPU defiantly helps. They changed the SD card slot to be pull to remove. The Model 2 B+'s SD card slot was VERY flimsy so this was a refreshing fix.
Cons: The use I would have liked to use this as an emulator machine, but PiPlay won't work on it yet. This said, it's not why I took away an egg. I removed an egg because it gets too hot. Without a heat sink, the device would just shutoff on me while idling. I HIGHLY recommend a heat-sink if you buy this.
Other Thoughts: I will be buying another to turn it into a Point of Sale system. Tested my code on it and it runs flawlessly. I will report back if everything stays stable after some time.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -VERY good airflow for only PSU fan
-Easy access HDD mount
-The bracket to hide those ugly screws over the PCI add on area is a very nice touch. Very happy they included it.
Cons: -Feels flimsy... and is... like the plastic is stronger than the steel.
-Steel back plate strips when screwing in standoffs (Unless being held by pliers on the opposite side.
-Only one 3.5" HDD bay. the other two are for 2.5" any drive.
-No sound dampening at all.
Other Thoughts: Despite the cons, I am happy with the case. Especially since it only cost me $30. 400 watts was enough to power
4gb Crucial Ram
250gb 7200rpm Seagate WL HDD
Nvidia GTX 750
Pros: I own 3 of these already and none have gone bad (This is over the course of 4 years too)
They do the job as described. Plain and simple.
Cons: I just wish the cables provided weren't so thick. Not really a con against the product, but the wires to the GPU are just in the way with how thick they are.READ FULL REVIEW
