Wow.
Pros: Usually I wait a bit to review, but wow. Card Idles at 38 without the fans on when web browsing, 27 if you turn the fans on with EVGA Precision X Low setting. Has not gone over 60 ever while games. Might overclock it. Very efficient on power and has handled everything I throw at it. The extra cuda cores are great for Premiere, will edit 4K GH4 files layered in realtime without breaking a sweat.
Cons: A bit big, but not so heavy as you need extra support.
Overall Review: Make sure you get the 4gb version if you use After Effects, it's worth it!
Great at first. Shutting down randomly after a month of use.
Pros: Great performance Stable while it lasted
Cons: Turns off the video output after ~3 or 4 hours of use. Not gaming either, just plain office work and browsing. Running it completely at stock. Only solved by rebooting computer. Unacceptable. It's a real shame too, was my first AMD card and I don't think I'll buy from them again. Their recording app is far inferior to Nvida's as well.
Better than expected, perfect for Surround Setup.
Pros: - Clear sound thoughout the range. - Cheap - Works well with other polk gear
Cons: - Lacking a bit of power - Build Quality (Expected for price)
Overall Review: Was setting up a surround setup in my office. Bought 4 for left, right and the surrounds. I paired them with a Polk Audio Signature Series S35 Center Channel unit and Subwoofer. All tied in to a Onkyo receiver. Results have blown me away for clarity and sound during testing. I would not purchase for just stereo, they lack a little bit of power for music, however this is completely solved if you have it in a surround setup with subwoofer. Cannot recommend them enough in this type of setup.
Amazing Sound, but some annoyances.
Pros: Flat out amazing sound quality. Very impressive for the price.
Cons: -Speakers go idle when nothing is playing, which is fine, but when the speakers do detect audio it takes at least 5 seconds for the sound to come back on. I know it takes that long after detection because there is a tiny notice light on the right speaker that indicates this. I instead touch the volume dial that turns them on faster. Very VERY annoying. -The volume dial itself is smooth and runs counter clockwise to increase volume. When combined with a noticeable delay when you adjust the volume this caused me to accidentally raise the volume when I wanted to lower it many times. Also I wish they put a dial on the front of the speaker not on the right side as far as it could be from your sitting position, hard to reach if you have the speakers proper distance from you.
Overall Review: With these issues fixed it would be a perfect set of speakers. Still recommend for amazing sound quality.
Insanity
Pros: Overlocked to 4.6 on air cooling with a Asus x99 board. I won the silicone lottery. Very stable, have owned the CPU for about a year and laughs at everything I throw at it, multiple cores are fantastic.
Cons: None.
Perfect
Pros: Dolby Digital Live for 5.1 surround works perfectly. Excellent sound quality
Cons: SBX Pro Studio terrible and on by default. I hate "enhancers". Turn it off for good clean audio.
