This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR841N Wireless N300 Home Router, 300Mbps, IP QoS, WPS Button
Pros: Inexpensive. Good enough range.
Cons: I do not know what it is about version 9 of this model, but it does not impress me as much as other TP-Link routers. It has minor quirks with network connects that annoy me. The range is mediocre. I enjoy using TP-Link routers, but I prefer other models over this one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Absolutely wonderful quality for this unit. It's quiet, and they last forever. I've never owned a bad ASUS DVD burner.
Cons: There is another drive brand on Newegg that produces a faster drive, but the quality is not as good. The other brand does not last as long. This drive is about average on speed, but it will last, making it a better value for your money.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus 2014 3 Devices - Download
Pros: Fast scanning and compatible with older Windows versions. Small in size, and it doesn't fight other services/programs.
Cons: Webroot is heavy on the heuristics, and mediocre on file detection. It's how they can make the thing so lean and efficient. This can be a negative though. Strong file detection is your first line of defense, and heuristics can fail. I would much rather block the file before it executes, as I consider a file guilty until proven innocent. It's better than having no protection at all, but it is not my first choice when it comes to securing my information. Also, the antiphishing component registered my local state fair's web site as a phishing web site. And yes, I put in the right URL. Ummm... Definite false positive.READ FULL REVIEW
