Pros: Great colors, no ghosting, vivid bright picture. Connected with Display Port w/o any issues. All games look great. No dead pixels.

Cons: The stand could use some improvements but I'm not knocking off eggs for that.

Other Thoughts: Just bought a 2nd one for dualies!

2 out of 5 eggs Firmware upgrade bricked it 01/30/2013

This review is from: NETGEAR WNDR4500 N900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Open Source Router - IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n

Pros: Worked great for about a year. Had no problems, multiple devices connected without any problems. Easy to use interface. All the bells and whistles you want. For that I'll give 2 eggs.

Cons: This is why... The router bricked itself after the latest firmware upgrade. I logged into my router to make some firewall changes and I got a notice about a firmware upgrade. I applied the update from the device webpage and the device worked for about two days. I came home to find a solid amber light and no response to trying a factory reset. It sucks that I spent a lot of $ for a device that worked for exactly a year. Nice lady on the support line but junk warranty (90 days).

Other Thoughts: Here is my support case number#20479855

I called tech support. They tried to do some factory resets and hard resets with no luck. Still got a solid amber light. Lady on the phone said it's a hardware failure and the device is broke. No willingness to replace or help further. I honestly think their firmware upgrade got corrupt and bricked it.

I think my next purchase will be a cisco/linksys. I probably will never buy Netgear again.
