This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: Keeps CPU cool. I DO NOT OVERCLOCK!
Bracket holds it in place very tight. (you are supposed to screw the retention bracket screws into the standoffs all the way)
Not too loud.
Comes with the brackets to mount a second fan opposite the original one.
Cons: A fairly big pain in the rear to install because the arms of the retention bracket have to be pushed down hard to get the screws to reach the standoffs.
Other Thoughts: A bit tricky to install, but does its job well.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-3.5G
Pros: Keeps my CPU cool when applied between my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler and my AMD FX-8150 8-core processor. I DO NOT OVERCLOCK!
You do NOT need to use it all on one processor.
Other Thoughts: Good thermal compound.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Plenty fast for a storage drive.
Hasn't crashed on me so far.
64MB Cache and SATA III (SATA 6Gb/s)
NOTE: It will still work with an older revision of SATA, and I don't think SATA 3Gb/s will bottleneck it.
Cons: Not going to be as amazing as an SSD (Solid-State Drive) - but that's why I boot from a solid-state drive and store my desktop and files on this.
Other Thoughts: I like that Windows 7 Professional lets my install Windows on an SSD (Solid-State Drive) and then set it up to store my desktop and the pre-created folder like documents and Pictures, etc. on this, without changing how I access those folders.READ FULL REVIEW
