Pros: Great price, processor, graphics card, storage, memory for my needs and decided budget. It has a nice big screen, which was my first search parameter. Then it was at least 4 GB ram. Then a decent graphics card, but not extreme since I only play older games sine I got a console. That narrowed my search down a lot then the reviews for this laptop tipped the scales.
Cons: None so far related to expectations. Those have been met or exceeded seeing as I knew I wanted a good budget laptop.
Other Thoughts: I had a pretty thorough review typed out but then lost it when I clicked submit. Somehow I got auto-logged out. So that was frustrating and also why this review is so short. This is my second attempt now 2 weeks later.
I like W8 now that I've learned the ins and outs. Still use desktop mode for the most part. It's nice that you don't have to rely on the tiles although I'm integrating it more and more.
This review is from: Rosewill 17.3" Notebook Computer Backpack Model RMBP-12001
Pros: Tons of space, affordable, lots of pockets/pouches/compartments, rugged, good lookin'.
Other Thoughts: Might be too big for some peoples' needs. Be sure to check the dimensions. It could fit a laptop with all your schoolbooks and even a printer. It would just be super heavy.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill 17.3" Notebook Cooler with 200mm LED Fan RLCP-11004
Pros: Solid metal construction, USB pass-thru, on/off switch for the fan, LEDs, lightweight, quiet.
Cons: With the fan blades exposed, it can be tricky to get situated on your lap without a leg or clothing getting clipped at first. Also, the recessed area on top is not quite big enough for my laptop (a 17.3") to fit in so I just align it to the front which angles the laptop slightly toward me. Not a big deal so far.
Other Thoughts: Overall it's worth it to me especially as part of a combo deal. Mostly just use it while gaming and go without for everything else. Nothing else heats up my laptop the same as gaming.READ FULL REVIEW
