Decent Monitor

Hanns-G HZ281HPB 27.5'' 3ms Full HD 1080P HDMI WideScreen LCD Monitor 400cd/m2 X-Contrast 15,000:1(800:1)Built-in Speakers

Pros: - Beautiful 27.5" display - Bright, crisp images - Skyrim looks incredible on this monitor

Cons: - As others have stated, the base is a bit flimsy Mine came with one stuck green pixel on the left side about two inches from the besel. I've tried most of the techniques from software exercising to poking/rubbing but it won't come back. I'm hoping it goes away on it's own over time.

Overall Review: I'm not going to dock an egg for one pixel, but it is disappointing. I don't feel it's worth the stress to pay to send it back and hope I get a good one, when I could likely get a worse one. Most Critical Review

DVI-I, not DVI-D

StarTech.com DVIIDMM20 Black DVI-I Male to DVI-I Male Male to Male Dual Link Digital Analog Monitor DVI-I Cable - M/M
StarTech.com DVIIDMM20 Black DVI-I Male to DVI-I Male Male to Male Dual Link Digital Analog Monitor DVI-I Cable - M/M

Pros: Great length, thick cable, not flimsy at all. Feels very solid.

Cons: Not all pins on the connectors are the same length.

Overall Review: I quickly added this to my cart without noticing it was a DVD-I cable, and my monitor is a DVD-D. I had to order a a converter, which hasn't arrived yet. I did not remove any eggs for this reason as it was my own fault. I will update the rating as soon as the adaptor arrives and I can see the picture quality.

Decent UV Reactivity

OKGEAR 6" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Straight W/ Metal Latch, UV Red, Backward Compatible with 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps
OKGEAR 6" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Straight W/ Metal Latch, UV Red, Backward Compatible with 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps

Pros: - Short length for easy cable management - Clips in place - Moderate glow with UV light

Cons: - Glows pink/magenta, not red - Just a moderate glow compaired to the Okgear UV Green cables which glow brilliantly

Overall Review: 6" worked for 2 drives (very tight on the second) but I knew they were short going into it. will have rethink drive placement for 3 SSD's) Although it is magenta glow, it still looks very cool in the case. I color coded my SATA cables (Red for SSD's, Blue for HDD's, and Green for Optical Drives) and the effect is satisfying. I recommend Okgear UV cables--DO NOT get Rosewill, they say UV blue, but do not react at all. (Using Logisys 12" Cold Cathode kit)

Stunning UV Kit

LOGISYS Computer CLK12UV 12" UV COLD CATHODE KIT
LOGISYS Computer CLK12UV 12" UV COLD CATHODE KIT

Pros: Easy to setup UV reactive materials glow brilliantly with this kit

Cons: The controller box is a bit big, but I was expecting that. Lots of wire to sleeve/hide

Overall Review: I bought two of these for my Antec 902 case figuring I'd put one at the top and bottom, but they are about a quarter inch too long for this. The light itself would fit if the acrylic blocks at each end were filed down, but I ended up just installing it vertically behind the drive bays out of sight, and the single UV light still covers the entire case well anyway. I'll probably put the other one in my girlfriend's rig.

OKGEAR 24" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Straight W/ Metal Latch, UV Green, Backward Compatible with 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps

Pros: SATA III Good length to reach optical drive Looks amazing. Very strong light green glow.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I paired this with the Logisys 12" cold cathode UV light, and they work excellent together in my Antec 902 case.

Not UV Reactive

Rosewill RCAB-11037 10 in. SATA III UV Blue Flat Cable w/ Locking Latch, Supports 6 Gbps, 3 Gbps, and 1.5 Gbps Transfer Rate
Rosewill RCAB-11037 10 in. SATA III UV Blue Flat Cable w/ Locking Latch, Supports 6 Gbps, 3 Gbps, and 1.5 Gbps Transfer Rate

Pros: SATA III Works.

Cons: Not UV reactive as I assumed from the title. I purchased the Logisys 12" Cold Cathode UV light which works amazingly well with Okgear UV reactive SATA cables. No reation whatsoever with these Rosewill cables.

Overall Review: The ice blue is a nice color for a cable, but they should take the "UV" out of the title. As far as cable quality goes, I give it 4 eggs, but since I purchased this for UV purposes I will only give it 2 eggs. Not really worth an RMA.
