Pros: great fit with Dell slim line computer
Cons: no retail box!
Other Thoughts: Installed a Asus EN210 video card, so decided to repalce the 250W PS with this 300W one. It fits the Dell perfectly and has been working fine for about two weeks now.
The PS comes with just bubble wrap and no retail box, no instruction and no warranty card. Not a big deal, but I thought that I'd let everyone knows.
This review is from: Cooler Master NotePal X-Lite - Laptop Cooling Pad with 140 mm Fan
Pros: inexpensive with the rebate
Cons: I have found that the fan noise is loud when placing this cooling pad with my 11.1” Asus Notebook on hard surface.
Also went on their live-chat support and the Technician also confirmed that the fan bearing is probably getting some pressure, thus and slight noise and suggested that using this on a flat and soft surface. He also suggested that if the noise gets worst, RMA it.
I have also found that putting a small stack of "Post-It" notes under the cooling fan, which lifts up the pad slightly, reduce the noise quite a bit.
If I get the rebate, the price is right, so I am keeping it.
Other Thoughts: Not sure if this pad does cool down the Notebook's temperature, but the bootom of the Notebook does feel much cooler when touch by hand.READ FULL REVIEW
