Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Always been air cooling, and pulled the trigger with the 2012 Seideon 120M because of the brand's track record, steep discount, and because I was looking to switch to push my FX-8120 chip to the limit.
Running all 8 cores at 3.95Ghz, finished 15 Prime95 tests in 34 minutes with no errors or warnings. Max temp during the test was 62C CPU, 43C per core. Using air cooling (Zalman CNPS9500A), this test would push upwards of 78C CPU, and scary 55C per core. I call that a difference!
Now back to idling, I see 31C CPU and core temps all at 9C. Its about 19C in the house right now.
What's a liquid cooling review without overall case temp? My SSD and HDD are about 6F degrees cooler, main board about 36C degrees cooler, and overall much quieter!
Install of fans, radiator, and brackets was easy. Installing CPU cooler to MB bracket was toughish, but I pressed the bracket from the other side to assist. I highly recommend that process to avoid having the screwdriver slip while pressing down on it and trying to twist the screw.

Cons: Haven't ever installed a liquid CPU cooler, and pressing each edge down with a finger while pressing the screwdriver down hard trying to thread into the bracket socket was difficult. My grease was nice enough to not slip too much (didn't use stock Cooler Master grease)

Other Thoughts: Granted I'm reviewing merely an hour after install and can't speak about reliability or leaking, if the cooler breaks within the acclaimed 40,000 hour fan life expectancy, maybe I'll remember to update the review 6-12 months out.

CM Storm Xornet - 2000 DPI Optical Gaming Mouse with Durable Omron Microswitches

5 out of 5 eggs Nice fit, nice DPI, works 11/13/2012

This review is from: CM Storm Xornet - 2000 DPI Optical Gaming Mouse with Durable Omron Microswitches

Pros: Use it as a work mouse, so DPI swap isn't heavily used, but it tested fine. 3 DPI settings. Mouse wheel is nice with side-to-side functionality. Thumb forward and back buttons work. Nice rubber grip on either side and a ring-finger rest

Cons: Thought the rest would match my Logitech G700 grip with ring finger on right mouse button, middle finger on mouse wheel, and pinky on rest, but the mouse is slimmer. Oh well, no egg drop necessary for my misinterpretation.
