MSI Radeon R9 390 DirectX 12 R9 390 GAMING 8G 8GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: This card is well put together with its sleek backplate and massive cooling solution. The card runs surprisingly cool and although I'm only gaming at 1080p it's capable of maxing out most newer games. The R9 390 is the new king of value at 1080p in my opinion. The card's 8 gb of ram gives you much better longevity than a card with 3.5 gb . You could easily crossfire another one of these later on and blow away the 980ti or the Titan X.

Cons: I really don't have any cons for this card at this point.

Nintendo Wii U Mario & Luigi Deluxe Set Black

5 out of 5 eggs The current generation system to buy 01/03/2014

This review is from: Nintendo Wii U Mario & Luigi Deluxe Set Black

Pros: The Wii U is all about having fun. Nintendo's 1st party games are great. A good selection of games that is only getting better. The gamepad is a neat addition.

Cons: Not as much raw horsepower as the Xbox one or PS4.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my kids and they absolutely love it. It turns out that everyone in the house is enjoying this neat little system.

ASUS RT-N16 Wireless Router 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps DD-WRT Open Source support with USB Storage, Printer And Media Server
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Supports DD-WRT and Tomato, good wireless coverage

Cons: Didn't last

Other Thoughts: Nice router, but simply didn't last. After approximately nine months it started needing to be reset. Finally I can't even reach the configuration page. What started off as a great review turned bad due to the router not lasting. I went back to my old trusty WRT-54G and all is well.
