Pros: This laptop is pretty solid. Quick enough for what I need it for which is mostly school work and light time-killing games. I was able, through turning off Fast Boot in the BIOS, to get Linux Mint 15 installed and running perfectly on this machine. The touch screen works in LM15 as well (not really sure about the multi-point aspect as I've not tried to use it for anything). Also, running Linux means I don't have to deal with the wifi issues that other users have been having.

Cons: Battery life is mediocre at best but what do you expect from an i5 with only a 4 cell battery? I can get about 4.5 hours if I set the brightness on the screen down.

Other Thoughts: That's really it. My only other gripe is that it would be nice to have had a 24G SSD to boot the OS with. It still boots pretty quick, even for a 5400 rpm HDD, but not in less than 10 seconds.

Another user had mentioned that this laptop does not have an Ethernet port. While it does not have one built into the machine, it does come with a connector to add the Ethernet port as well as a VGA-out. I don't know if they didn't open everything in the box or what.
