This review is from: GIGABYTE GB-BXi5-4570R 2 x 204Pin Intel Iris Pro graphics 5200 Mini-PC Barebone
Pros: Fast, small, powerful and reasonably quiet. Easy to build and take apart, Low power. This can game pretty good. I am able to play games like BF4 and Titanfall on medium settings at 1280 x 800 resolution, which is not bad at all.
Cons: a little pricey? I just wish the graphics were even better.
Other Thoughts: When I can build a computer this size with graphics that will game at 1080P then I will be able to scrap a discrete graphics card and save money on my build. The next 2-3 years should be amazing as items like this become the norm and gaming prowess will be where it needs to be.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nice mechanical keys. Clicky Clicky Click. The best part about mechanical keyboards is the uniformity of the keystrokes. The finish on this board is great and contrary to the Newegg video this keyboard with the Blue switches is finished in black and not grey/silver. Considered the Reds due to concern over the black finish so am very happy. Love the function keys and the red led lights for Caps lock, windows key and scroll lock. The braided cable is a nice touch.
Cons: Good quality for sure, but the keys are very close together and so the keyboard feels constrained. I have no issues with the Blue keys, although I had tried only browns before this.
Other Thoughts: Comparing this to my Das Keybaord only serves to show that the Das is just better as a keyboard, This board has some travel on the space bar for example and although it feels very sturdy it is just not quite up to the standard of the Das. As for the finish of the board I would argue this one is better as it has a non-glossy finish and comes with keys to replace WASD which I had to order separately for the Das. To be fair I am being nit-picky as this is a great keyboard and I love that it is small as I use it for a travel keybaord for a gaming rig.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works at rated speeds and voltage. 8 gigs.
Cons: SO-DIMM is still to expensive compared to desktop ram.
Other Thoughts: Got this for a Gigabyte Brix Pro (the one sans hyper-threading) and it fired right up with proper timings and everything. Just wish I had another stick for 16 gigs..READ FULL REVIEW
