Pros: I've deployed several of these for many of my clients. Mostly because they're inexpensive, work well, and I already have an image for them that I update now and then on my spare machine. Businesses don't need anything fancy, and that's exactly what these are. Something that just works. I usually deploy them with 80-120GB HDD though. 750 is overkill for a workstation.
Cons: One hard drive died here, a fan there, but nothing too uncommon.
Other Thoughts: Good overall system for biz workstation or light use household PC. It's already worth the cost of the Windows 7 license alone.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TP-LINK TL-PoE150S PoE Injector
Cons: The second I plug this in, it takes out my WAP (Netgear WG102). Now it's broke. It won't even work if I use the AC adapter.
Other Thoughts: I am an I.T. consultant and have installed many Netgear WG102s in small offices using many different brands of POE switches and POE injectors without problems. I have even tested POE switches using my own WAP so I know mine works. Besides a refund, I hope TP-Link buys me a replacement WAP because now I don't have Wifi. Stay away from their cheap products. I just needed 1 POE port so didn't want to buy a switch. You get what you pay for so I spent $20 now I'm out -$130 or so. Stay away from TP-Link. I'd give zero eggs if it were possible.
Used manufactured Cat6 cables and a UPS, so it's not a wiring issue caused by me. These are the same cables and ports I've been using without issue for a while now. I tested the network cable with another machine after my WAP failed and it works fine, so it's not the cable or the switch port.
This review is from: Synology CLP1 Camera License Pack
Pros: The software is awesome. VERY comparable to higher-end Axis software and others on that level. Easy to use and like the multiple simultaneous playback.
Cons: None that I can see so far. Will update if something weird comes up.
Other Thoughts: To the reviewer giving a low score because of the price, have you seen the price of other surveillance camera software??? This is a steal compare to most of them considering the features and how advanced it is. You clearly don't know much about licensing and the value of this type of license. These type of licenses run in the range of $200 per camera, and most of them have to be purchased in packs and don't have the option for just one license.READ FULL REVIEW
