Makes Life Easier

Seagate Momentus XT ST95005620AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s with NCQ 2.5" Solid State Hybrid Drive Bare Drive
Seagate Momentus XT ST95005620AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s with NCQ 2.5" Solid State Hybrid Drive Bare Drive

Pros: No More Waiting for PC to boot/Windows loading... No need to do a fresh install of Windows to make things run the best like with full on SSD. Just clone your existing drive and give it time (usually 3-5 reboots) to learn... No need to mess around with Windows settings to optimize it like with full on SSD...

Cons: Are you kidding?

Overall Review: Windows 7 Ultimate boots in less than 10 seconds...for that alone, it's worth it. Been running this drive for about 8 months...it's so good, I just bought another one of these and the new 2nd gen 750gb to convert my wife's PC and laptop to. I know she'll now have the extra time to thank me properly ;-)

Can't get rated speed

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model 997124R
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model 997124R

Pros: very solid, well built and good-looking heatsinks looks great in my rig runs decent speeds/timings solidly (see cons) 16gb in 2 sticks

Cons: Bought these as an upgrade from 8GB of GSkill ram (rated for 2400 and which ran fine at 2200 (using i5 3570 non K)). Couldn't get these to run at rated speeds on my Z77A-GD55 using either XMP or manually selecting, best they will do is a stable 1866 at Timing 10-12-12-28 Command rate 1, (tested with 10 passes of memtest86+, OCCT and Intel Burn In); which is, pretty good for the price I paid of 120 after sale price +10% off coupon, so I won't RMA them. As an aside, I tried them in a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 and Windows will just hang on the boot screen,(repair Windows didn't help) no matter how low I clock this memory (1333 with loose timings) so there might be some incompatibility if you're running that particular board (or it might be the board itself. It will also run those same 8gb GSkills at 2133).

Overall Review: 1st time Mushkin buyer...I understand it might be my boards (this ram was not on MSi's or Gigabyte's QVL) or somehow slightly defective sticks, which does happen. I'd love to try these in an ASUS mobo (like the one another reviewer had), but right now I'm on the fence as to whether I'd purchase this brand again if I was looking for maximum speeds for overclocking. I have heard this company is good and they are US based, so that's a plus to consider if it matters to you.

I like it

ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor
ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor

Pros: Really sharp/crisp, beautiful display, mine needed no tweaking- simply set to standard mode and the colors pop...had to adjust overscan to 0% in ATI control panel and now it works *very* well for my music production PC. Really like the thin bezel. IPS rocks for viewing angle, which is important when you are working on other stuff and having to look at the screen from a different position.

Cons: Stand is weak Can't adjust up/down -only able to tilt forward/back Buttons in odd place Strange panel on back

Overall Review: I understand the idea behind the strange button placement and the panel on the back, meh. whatev...I was able to work them without too much problem once I knew where my fingers were. I actually removed the little plastic panel on the back which made it easier to work with the connections (just bow it out a bit and it will pop out). However, the stand really is sorta lame...not so much a problem for me as I have a really stable desk, but I could see how it would jitter like hell on something less stable. You may have to stick a hardback book under it to get it eye level :(

Good PSU

Fractal Design Tesla R2 500W ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Power Supply
Fractal Design Tesla R2 500W ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Power Supply

Pros: Solidly built, looks good, 80Plus Gold, powers my rig just fine. Been using this since beginning of November and it has performed admirably on a PC that runs pretty much 24/7 (few shut downs here and there, some sleep mode). JohnnyGuru has some good reviews on this company's PSU's and I bought it based off of those and the fact it was on sale. I don't regret it! Good cable length and i actually like the white fan (you can easily see if it's spinning if you have a case like my Antec 900). I'd buy another PSU from this company without hesitation (especially one of those Newtons, they're BEAST!)

Cons: none as long as it holds up for years -guess we'll see!

Great product!

Pros: Came fully charged, dual USB (2A+1A), plenty of charge time, seems really solidly build, has an led light if your working in the dark. Bought 2 of these and took them on a 1.5 week road trip from warm/hot state to a state where temp varied down to low teens (left them in the car several times) and they performed well.

Cons: none
