Best Burner
Pros: Fast, perfect burning.
Cons: Plextools (not included, but free download) doesn't work with vista x64. Included Roxio 9 works okay, but I miss plextools.
Overall Review: More of a really dark gray than black.
>12 dB but >32.4 cfm
Pros: Moves a lot of air. A pair of these could replace your desk fan.
Cons: Loud--definitely not the 12 dB in the specs (manufacturer lists the same on their page but <28 on the package). Not overly loud for how much air it pushes. Frame is slightly bigger than some 80mm fans. Requires the long bolts for many mounting applications, but didn't include them.
Overall Review: It definitely moves a lot of air-I think more than the listed 32.4 cfm (or every other fan I own was over-rated). It is also definitely louder than 12 dB. May be good with a fan controller. It needs to be put on a vent with a lot of free airflow or it will be much louder from the air getting sucked through the vent holes. I had to cut some plastic tabs off of my case to fit it on since it is bigger than my previous 80mm fan.
Why you no turn on???
Pros: Strong bluetooth. It will connect to my wife's phone in the house over 75 feet away. Great range of stations for the FM transmitter.
Cons: This is a functional on/off button away from 5 eggs. The on/off switch turns on the auto on/off. Sometimes, when fully charged and with the switch in the on position, it will simply not trigger the auto on. This sometimes lasts for days before it randomly turns on somewhere on the road. It also occasionally randomly turns off. I have also had it not turn off when I moved the switch to the off position. Maybe mine is just defective
Overall Review: The "I disconnected" beep is horrifically shrill.
Tracking gets progressively worse
Pros: Perfect hand fit, nice feel to the scroll wheel.
Cons: Sensor works great at first. Any surface. After a few months it wouldn't work on my black mouse pad, so I used a sheet of paper. A few months after that it would start tracking poorly until I "reset" it by putting it on the black mouse pad, then back to the paper and it would work fine for a while. Within a week it started to jiggle the cursor while the mouse was stationary. Cleaned the sensor and tried a new computer. It will work for a little while then either not move at all or jiggle the cursor. Could be some "auto-adjusting" feature failing rather than the sensor, but either way it is unusable.
Overall Review: It's jiggling right now so I cant click the "I have read..." box to submit this review. I think it has become self-aware. The machines are rising.
4 days to useless. Bah!
Pros: Good tracking, cheap
Cons: Started double clicking when I wasn't trying to double click. Worked fine for two days, started double clicking a little on the third day, and on the fourth day it was so bad that I couldn't use it for anything but web browsing.
Overall Review: Small. Extra buttons are positioned for finger rather than thumb/thumb&ring use; awkward for me.
Works great until...
Pros: Good fast memory, fan works great, fit perfectly.
Cons: I have had two of these guys fail. Well, half fail. One stick will start operating at half capacity (only recognized as 1GB, tested in two computers) and starts blocking booting if it is in the wrong slot or if anything is in the fourth slot. First time was after three weeks. RMA'd. This time it was 7 weeks. Finding out if I can RMA again.
Overall Review: AMD Phenom II X3 720, Foxconn A79A-S 790FX Motherboard, 6GB OCZ platinum (2X2 and 2X1), Vista 64 Home Pre. Got my rebate (at least I think I did-the check didn't say what the rebate was for) but it did take a long time.
