Pros: I am running two HIS 6950 Ice X Turbo's in cross fire very happy with performance. I am a gamer and with all setting on high quality it's like playing all my games over again, these cards in crossfire will give you a truly amazing gaming experience. Read many reviews first to find the best video sweet-spot. Also Great price for these cards compared to a 6990 was my other choice but didn't want the fan noise. Thx newegg.
Other Thoughts: I have a high end gaming rig I7 Sandy Bridge running 24/7 4.85 GHZ with Two HIS Ice X 6950's Cards run 48/50C at idle and 70/80C full load intense gaming for hours, never hear the cooler fans above case fans(PERFECT!) It's just what I wanted. I hope they last a long time, I registered them with HIS.
My windows Experience is- CPU 7.8 Memory 7.9 Graphics 7.9 Gaming 7.9 Hard disk 7.8
System runs great!
Pros: All I can say is AWESOME! I bought the Femi GTX 480 SC and it rousted my system, I have a Cooler Master tower case with six fans and still was way to hot! (I returned it).
There were mixed reviews on this ATI 5970 card but I took a chance…. and just love it. All my games setting set to max and runs so smooth and cool higher frame rate better graphics. Not one issue with this card. Finally I have my system the way I want it. My EVGA 780I motherboard and QX9650 CPU perfect combo. Even Game flicker I was experiencing in Crisys with my old Evga GTX295 Co-Op card is gone. I am now on the RED team, Thanks ATI.
Cons: Price, mabey but you get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: Was worried about installing into my EVGA 780i motherboard, but just uninstalled everything in safe mode, and install 10.4 drivers and not one issue.READ FULL REVIEW
