Pros: Cooling performance is amazing
Cons: Pump bearings blew within 2 days of use.
Talked with CM support 4 times total. CM promised several times to provide me with RMA info to get this replaced.
Was given several excuses about why it was constantly being delayed. Still never received anything past excuses.
Cooler still sits on the shelf beside my desk, not one bit usable. A very expensive paper weight.
Other Thoughts: tl;dr - Faulty product, endless warranty process is a waste of time and patience.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Sturdy metal simple design that won't break down to wear and tear.
Cons: molex connectors instead of sata power connectors. Very inconvenient. Literally the only molex device in my case.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great modern case with a mind for silence in every part of it's design. Solidly built, with nice features like USB 3 ports and an integrated SD slot.
Cons: Missing features I've come to love from my previous CM case, such as firewire and e-SATA ports, sturdy tooless drive bays (5.25" drives require at least one screw to make them usable), screw storage, etc.
Case also was delivered missing the rear Silencio fan. I had fans to fill the void, but not nearly as good. And I can't even buy them separately at this point.
Other Thoughts: Finally upgraded from the CM690. Case lasted me for years and is built like a tank. It'll take on server duty from now on. The new case is a good step up when it comes to cable management and presentation. Build quality seems slightly lower (but there was room), and unfortunately it's missing many features I've come to enjoy.
For the price, it's realistically a 4-5 egg case. Works good, looks great. But the lack of features with a missing fan on top of it is just too much.
