This review is from: BYTECC Model DPVGA-06 6 ft. Display Port to VGA Cable M-M
Pros: Works great coming out of my new EVGA GTX 750 Ti. No flicker problems like someone else had mentioned.
Cons: The VGA side was a little bit too long and I is really tight against the plastic moulding of the back of my monitor. Because of this, the cable is slightly bent more than I would like but it still works.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This motherboard works great but there was a BIOS upgrade needed from the Gigabyte website to add support for the 4th generation CPU. I have an i5 4430 and 16GB of ADATA memory Model AX3U1600W4G9-DB. I didn't even have to reinstall Windows 7 which was originally on an ASUS P5Q3 motherboard. I was planning on the reinstall but it booted with no problems and I manually uninstalled old drivers and reinstalled the new ones. Worked like a charm.
Cons: The only minor issue I had was the memory was not detecting 1600. It was setting it to 1333 so I manually changed it which fixed the problem.
Other Thoughts: Great motherboard for the price and if anyone wants to build a budget haswell system.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works great with a new GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H motherboard.
Cons: Was not compatible with my older ASUS P5Q3 motherboard since it would not POST boot. I had the suspicion that the ram was fine even though it would not boot so I ordered a new motherboard, CPU, and another set of the same kind of ram. It was a risk for more of the same ram but I have seen this countless times so I was pretty sure it was just a compatibility issue. One other problem is that with the GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H and a i5 4430 CPU, it would not detect 1600 first. I had to manually change the settings in the BIOS.
Other Thoughts: I haven't had this memory for long so I can't say how well it will hold up for the future.READ FULL REVIEW
