Wish I had purchased this alot sooner.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: This is one purchase that I should have made a long time ago. Had owned a phenom x4 9850 that idled at 48 ~ 50c and tried everything to bring the temps down in hopes of avoiding spending money. Finally got fed up and had heard enough great things about this cooler to give it a shot. Installation was pretty easy and the instructions were well laid out. It includes the hardware to add a second 120mm fan, keep in mind the direction of airflow on the second one if you install one, I installed one later and found the idle temps stayed the same but load temps were a fair bit cooler with it. Even with the second fan I can barely hear it running, so it didnt add to the noise. Also be very careful when tightening down the screws that hold the fan to the clips, tighten them too fast and you will split the clip. Not a fault of theirs, I was just too anxious to get it installed. I had of course expected a drop in temps but not down to a steady 35c at idle and not once did it go past 54c at 2 hours on full load. I have since upgraded to a phenom II x4 965 and the temps are even cooler at 32c idle to never above 50c under load.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I should mention that i did not use the supplied thermal compound but used some arctic silver 5 i had laying around so I can't comment on the quality of it, although it looks identical to it. I also feel I should mention that this thing is huge. Look at the dimensions on the product detail page and measure your case and motherboard for clearance, I had to remove a side window fan, the gap between the window and the heatsink is paper thin.

A good upgrade for kids pc

Western Digital Blue WD1600AAJB 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: What can I say, It's a Western Digital, 160GB and at this price, wow. This was the perfect upgrade for my childrens pc. Its quiet and runs fairly cool.

Cons: My only con is I wish I had seen this before I bought this exact one from a local retailer for double what I paid for it here.

Not bad for an athlonxp system

ZOGIS GeForce 6800LE 256MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card ZO68LE-DAGP
ZOGIS GeForce 6800LE 256MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card ZO68LE-DAGP

Pros: This is a great card for those with an older system and cant upgrade to a pcie based board. Was able to unlock all pipes, however even unlocked is was still slower than my 6600gt agp 128mb. Not alot but the difference was noticeable.

Cons: This thing runs freakin hot. I don't mean "wow thats kinda warm". I mean doubles as a spot heater. Even with the pipes locked. I wouldn't recommend running this without upgrading the cooler for very long.

A great deal

LOGISYS Computer Area 51 CS51WBK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 480W Power Supply

Pros: Very well built, sturdy. 120mm fan for front and back a major plus, (also noticed what looks like a spot for an 80mm on the bottom?) Included window fan is very quiet. The one thing that stands out the most is the air circulation, which is excellent. Just replacing the case and nothing else saw a major temp drop. Oh and man is this thing bright.

Cons: My only gripe is I wish it had a mounting spot for an 80mm fan on the top. A lot of heat gets trapped up there.

Overall Review: Included power supply is better than the ones offered at other online shops. Less wattage but a lot more amps. So far no problems running 1gb ram and a 6800 zogis agp card on an older athlonxp system.
