Pros: I built my girlfriend a computer on a strict budget of $200. Back in the good old days when there used to be combo deals with free 8GB of DDR3 1600 I picked up this proc, mobo and ram for less than $130. Now I knew she mostly just needed something capable of word processing, media consumption and some casual hours spent playing the Sims and Skyrim...
Wait did I just say Skyrim? Yes. Yes I did. I logged onto my steam account just as a joke and decided to install it on her fresh terabyte hdd and low and behold with medium-low graphics at 720p it played with no hiccups! I was shocked. Did I mention this was on a 40+ inch television? Now perhaps that doesn't sound impressive to some, considering the lowered graphics settings and resolution, but let me tell you it performed just as well as on a 360...
That being said this cpu is a great value for a htpc/studentpc/light gaming rig.
Cons: Nothing. Really for this price to performance I feel that there is nothing poor to be said.
Other Thoughts: It is outdated now, but that price is hard to say no to!READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: CHEEEEEAAAP! Which in this case is a good thing considering the age and the happenings with fm2+ being released soon. I built my girlfriend a computer for $200 TOTAL which included a combo deal back when RAM prices where in their golden days. She got this mobo, 8gb of ddr3 1600 and an a4-3400 for less than $130 iirc. Then add on a refurbished coolermaster htpc case purchased locally for $30 with a psu and a WD 1 TB green drive. Add some linux sauce and poof, she was up and running. Solid for over a year and no complaints driving a 40+ inch television as a primary monitor non the less.
Cons: There really wasn't anything that went wrong with the install. Everything was functional though I wish now I had waited and set my girlfriend up with an fm2 rig which was released maybe a week before I bought this.
Other Thoughts: If you need a cheap computer that will handle 90% of your daily needs, this is a viable candidate for the backbone of that system. Though reading some of the other reviews it seems they can be hit or miss. Also worth considering that some people don't take precaution against static or are novices in general to the computer assembly game :DREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: BRIGHT! The color definition is not top tier at this price point, but for the average gamer/student/browser this monitor functions very well. The response time is quick enough for me and watching 1080 video with clarity.
Cons: Now that I can play in 1080p I've come to find the rest of my system lacking XD. The only specific con I have is the external power supply, just in general having one is another item to keep track of, and it also can get quite warm after a few hours.
Other Thoughts: Go ahead and buy it, you deserve it!READ FULL REVIEW
