Thermaltake V5 Black Edition Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis With Embedded Handle VL70001W2Z
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Screw less bays
Black interior
Front mesh with dust covers

Cons: Terrible drive bay. You have to screw them in through a hole, so make sure you have a screwdriver that's at least 4 inches long (Also magnetic just to help).

There is no cable management at all. There's almost no room at all behind the motherboard.

The 2.5" drive bay is a huge pain to deal with, as it runs very tight between the bay holders and will cause scratches. It can also only be held in 1 position.

The top 200mm fan is NOT 200mm, it's 170mm and is essentially proprietary only to this case. Removing it involves removing the handle, (5 screws) and then disassembling the top section (7 more screws). You can only do this when your motherboard and top bays are clear.

Bottom dust cover is only removable when PSU is not in the bracket.

Overall airflow is lacking and sub par.

Other Thoughts: This case is much too expensive for the features and overall build quality. If you absolutely must have a case with a handle, there is one other option and it's worth every penny to get that one instead.

Western Digital WD Green WD20EARS 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Quiet, use low power, massive storage capacity. Cheap for the amount of space it has.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This is going to last me a very long time

CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 (CMPSU-500CX) 500W ATX12V v2.3 Active PFC Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: -Long sleeved cables

-Cables were reasonably flexible

-Quiet, works and performs great

-Very good build quality

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Used this to replace my Thermaltake TR2 600w which was shutting down randomly. This power unit has been extremely stable so far and the quality difference is immense.
