Well worth the price.

CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-1000HX 1000 W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply
CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-1000HX 1000 W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

Pros: Modular construction made organizing cables easy for good air flow. Cables were neither too short nor too long. It is basically two separate power supplies "glued" together, so it truely has two separate rails, unlike some other models. Comes with a nifty little bag to help you store all the modular cables in.

Cons: Its big.

Overall Review: LONG, i had to build 1" stand-offs which let the power supply hang out of the back of the case to allow me to install it without removing the top fan. This is not a con, but do your homework before you buy a case. It is 200mm long, and that doesn't include room to plug in the modular cables.

Great mouse but...

Logitech G9 Black 9 Buttons Tilt Wheel USB Wired Laser 3200 dpi Gaming Mouse
Logitech G9 Black 9 Buttons Tilt Wheel USB Wired Laser 3200 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Excellent mouse for gaming. High resolution, comfortable, just the right amount of buttons, works on any surface...

Cons: After using for about 9 months the left mouse button (the important one) has started double-clicking on a single click. It started happening a week ago doing it maybe once or twice an hour but now the mouse is almost unusable as it opens files instead of selecting them and it is impossible to click and drag. It is double-clicking on every other single click. I had to switch to a mouse i got for free at a trade show. I really liked this mouse, but for $99 (at the time) is should have lasted more then 9 months. I am not hard on my equipment.

Overall Review: I will probably buy another one because i liked it so much, but i am still dissapointed. i thought it might be a driver problem, but i switched it to a win xp machine (from win vista) and it did the same thing. (i tried new drivers, old drivers and no drivers with the same result)

Love this mouse

Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse
Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Fast, accurate, comfortable, not bad to look at. Excellent customer service.

Cons: Not industructable.

Overall Review: I had the G9 for about a year when the left click microswitch started double-clicking. I called up logitech, and they sent me a pre-paid shipping label to return the mouse (only had to return the mouse, not the accessories) and immediately shipped me a new G9x! Customer support was knowledgable, polite and they even spoke english!

Excellent RAM.

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8D
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8D

Pros: Easily overclocks to 1688mhz (211x8) with stock voltage and timings. This flexability has allowed me to go up to 4Ghz on my Intel Core i7 920.

Cons: Um, i paid $300 when they first came out...

Overall Review: If you are looking to OC your processor, i highly recommend this kit. You can go cheaper, but you will probably be sorry.

a decent fan

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan

Pros: These fans move a good deal of air.

Cons: They are loud, even when the speed is turned down... Not terrible, but not as good as i had hoped. I can't dock an egg, because they are high flow fans and thus will be loud.

Overall Review: Make sure you get a fan controller to turn them down when you don't need all that air. Having an obstruction (like a screen-type fan grill) really reduces the air flow these fans produce. Make sure you have open-type grills for max airflow and min noise.

Its a fan grill...

GENERIC NET12 Fan Guard/Grill, chromed, for 120mm fans
GENERIC NET12 Fan Guard/Grill, chromed, for 120mm fans

Pros: It is a fan grill... it is $1.99 Low resistance for maximum air flow with minimum noise.

Cons: My case didn't come with them in the first place...

Overall Review: My case had sub-par cooling, so i got the ol' dremmel out and cut a few 120mm holes in the case. These fan grills keep fingers, toes and other bits from getting in the way of the fan blades. Unfortunately they don't really cover up the hack-job i did...but i can't knock an egg for that...
