This review is from: MSI 990FXA-GD80 V2 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: I chose the MB for a very basic (non-gaming) build and everything came together flawlessly with Windows 8. The build was for a client.
Cons: No cons to report.
Other Thoughts: Not sure I like the layout of Windows 8, but it sure installed easy enough on this new build.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Black Pearl Silent ATX Mid Tower Case
Pros: Wide and roomy. Wide enough for the large CPU coolers. It's a good quality and solidly built case for the money. And I think that it is well designed for cable management; there is amble room behind the MB for cables.
Cons: No cons to report.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Plenty of room for components and cable management. Distance from the front of the graphics card (essentially the back of the case) to the hard drive cage is 13.5 inches. Therefore, you have penty of room for the big graphics cards and power supplies. I installed the Corsair Hydro H70 CPU cooler without any issues, which should be no surprise because this case is made for it. It has the best side panels that I've ever seen; they are solid and come off easy (no fiddling around required). This case is slightly wider than most. There is not much that is "mid tower" about this case.
Cons: There is nothing WRONG with this case.
Other Thoughts: I see a lot of complaints about cable management issues for various cases. When I run into a cable management issue, and I want everyting to look perfect, I make a custom cable. It's not that hard to do.READ FULL REVIEW
