Pros: good price, Got mine for 199, the build quality is top notch as well.
PCS cooling system is really good, keeps card very cool.
Cons: does not seem to have the mute fan tech were the fans actually stop if load is low, however it is a very quiet card.
Other Thoughts: seems just as well built and maybe better than my other cards from msi and sapphire.
I did see the older model has a 18mzh faster clock rate, not sure why they made a new version that is clocked slightly less. Why do they call it the Myst edition?
Pros: Well built with back plate
The PCS cooler works extremely well.
Cons: Fans don't completely stop at idle, but so far I have not really noticed the fans much. I would imagine there is more wear on the fans if they are starting and stopping more often, so it might not be a con at all.
Other Thoughts: I don't get any coil whine. People that are complaining about this need to post what kind of PSU they are using as that's where the coil whine is coming from. I am running mine on a EVGA G2 550 and I don't hear any coil whine. I also can't hear the fans at idle either.
Also there is a newer version of this card available so maybe makes a difference.
This review is from: Enermax T.B.SILENCE 120MM Blue LED Twister Case Fan
Pros: Very quiet at 5v
Looks are great and the batwing blade design produces a nice LED lightning bolt look.
Cons: The open lettering around the outside might cause a issue in a high static pressure situation,
but you could just put some tape around the outside.
Other Thoughts: I had 2 AF120 silent series and at 5v they were kind of noisy, I replaced those with these and it was a vast
Any fan at a full 12 volts is probably going to be a little loud, but if you under volt either by using the molex rewire trick or a fan controller these are really silent.
