This review is from: Rosewill CHALLENGER - Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Three Included Fans - 1 x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1 x Top 140mm Fan, 1 x Rear 120mm Fan - Two More Optional Side 120mm Fans Supported
Pros: - Cable management is the best I've ever experienced (third different ATX mid case)
- Looks good with the limited mesh grating I have remaining on the outside
- Enough expansion bays for my needs
- Inside stayed extremely cool under everyday/average load (22C) even before I put in my own case fans. The top 140mm fan especially is a seriously high quality piece of equipment
Cons: - Wish there were just a couple more 80/120mm fan options. The case stays cool enough, as I said, but the available choice to go overboard is never looked down upon, in my opinion!
Other Thoughts: Overall the best case I've ever worked with. The only thing that kept me from impulse buying this for my build the instant I found it and read the details was the lack of a window on the side of the case. But I am extremely happy about the fact that I chose this case, and didn't get overly picky about that one borderline irrelevant issue!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Tweaked it and my OS and the SSD is running Vista (my preferred OS) flawlessly even months later with virtually no speed decreases.
Enough space for what I "need" to have on it.
Cons: Made me never want to use an HDD again.
Only ENOUGH space for what I "need" to have on it.
Other Thoughts: Used for OS selected applications (mostly games) and this thing runs flawlessly. All forms of media are stored exclusively on my 640gb HDD.
Really wish the prices would start going down a bit faster as SSD technology advances, but it's not exactly a complaint. Those types of things take time, and I understand that, but $1+/gb (in most cases) still feels a bit excessive.
This review is from: SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold ((SS-650KM Active PFC F3)) 650W ATX12V V2.3/EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
Pros: - Silent. Literally and always; fan barely ever needs to run
- Stays RIDICULOUSLY cool all the time, even under hours of gaming load
- (Obviously) amazingly power efficient; 80 Gold!
- Fully modular
Cons: Absolutely none whatsoever.
Other Thoughts: Got it for more than 60% off original MSRP after sales and rebates, but even at the current price, it has to be in the top 5 best, most efficient, and generally substantially sized PSU for the money.
Seasonic is far and away my favorite PSU brand.
