Pros: One of the two red cables ordered worked.
Cons: One of two red cables ordered failed the very first time it was used.
Other Thoughts: The cables feel stiff and one of them never worked. For $3.56 tt was a waste of money. Will never buy it again.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It arrived within a week from CA. It was neatly packaged in the box with a brand new keyboard and a mouse together with 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 Pro installation discs. A few pieces of dust appeared on the front of the case. It was very clean inside. It came with pretty much expected parts as advertised,
Cons: DVD driver won't eject with the case stands on its side as a tower. But I plan to replace it with a writer anyway.
Other Thoughts: I went through the initial set up process and installed 64-bit instead. Windows 7 has all the drivers it needs. It took a couple of hours to download and install all updates. Video is surprisingly decent. CPU utilization peaked 84% playing youtube 1080p video. Minecraft gaming was smooth with no lagging. I ordered 2 sticks of 2 GB RAM from Am@2on for $44.99 shipped to boost it up to 6 GB. Now I wished I ordered another one but it is now OOS.
Overall, it is a very good value for the price.
Pros: It has been cooking perfect rice since the very first time. We could now smell the jasmine aroma of the rice cooked. The cooking time is marginally faster than our 8-cup non-stick. It is very easy to clean.
Cons: Capacity can be misleading. We used 4 cups of uncooked rice and the inner pot was filled almost to the top when it's done cooking. The inner pot is too small to do any steaming on top of the rice.
Other Thoughts: I would buy the 10-cup model if it weren't out of stock. Even though we cannot steam together with rice cooking, it is still an excellent rice cooker for the size our family. I hope it will last a long time.READ FULL REVIEW
