Pros: So my latest computer build was a mITX build. I have everything working as I wanted it to, and this card was thankfully available. I put it into a BitFenix Prodigy case, and I'm seriously impressed at it's capabilities. I used EVGA Precision X 16 to see it's thermal design and controls. With it's single fan at 100% (~3500 RPM) during a VGA stress test, I plateaued at 50C, with a custom fan curve, I plateau again at 50C and fan at about 25%.
Cons: As others have commented, the stock rules for the card itself is to start the fan when the GPU is at 60C. I agree that's high to start cooling. Their Precision X software I think needs to run in your system tray in order to provide a profile to start the fan earlier, and at the speed you want.
Other Thoughts: I am quite pleased with this. I am very glad it was available, I am going to use this for many years (I hope!).READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This board is packed, and very well designed. Put it in a BitFenix mITX case with aftermarket coolermaster cooler. ASUS' website lists Win10 drivers, so they're quick with the new Microsoft.
Cons: Nothing like assembling into a case to later find out you did want one of the daughtercards installed. Would require unmounting the board and mounting the daughtercard. Ensure you have the optionals you want on before putting it into the case. Drivers and Downloads on ASUS website is missing AI Suite 3 (among others), but on the DVD. The website needs updating.
Other Thoughts: I've found that if you're going to go ASUS, you might as well go with their highest board, it's WORTH THE COST, if you can swallow the cost. It's a great board, and I highly recommend it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Can't really confidently give any pros.
Cons: new PC build, and included this in the mess of other components. Ever since the first time I tapped the power button on the case, it's been weird. Has some unknown problem. I eventually had a fullscreen OpenGL game hard lock up on me, and Win10 recovered. Event Viewer said there was a page fault. Driver stopped and was restarted. Things weren't working right
Other Thoughts: I have issued an RMA and probably won't buy another MSI. Everything from the video card was just odd, but could have just been the erroring device. After I swapped the video card out with the previous one I was using, sensors, thermals, readouts, displays, etc all working beautiful. Short lived MSI.READ FULL REVIEW
