Pros: placed it on an gtx 580sc in the 2nd pciex-x2 slot in sli config, in the 1st is an evga gtx 580sc watercooled edition and when the temps are being monitored they are always within 2 or 3 deg of each other.
Cons: takes up 3 pci slots
Other Thoughts: almost the cost of a waterblock unless you find it on saleREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Bought this for an early x58 board because of tight timings and 1600mhz xms profile. Well it know sits in an asrock fatality1 z68 with updated bios. After bios update xmp wont work because cant use 1.65v any more (never use 1.65v on IB or SB) so placing Dimm volts in man at 1.5v placing man timings (8-8-8-24) I started OCing till I reached 2133mhz (10-11-10-28). No need to upgrade this is superb top grade quality
Cons: none saved me buying new chips
Other Thoughts: 2 sticks reads xmp, 4 dont read xmp so manual setting need to be applied. Not many chips exceed 2000mhz at 1.5v at timings this good.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Dont use 1.65v memon any SB! Been OC for quite a few years and I find this so OC friendy that a beginer can do it know. I replaced an evga x58 i7-965, the memory was mushkin 998691(firstname.lastname@example.org) I put the mem in at 1.5v and started going up from there, just put some timmings in and choose your mhz, I stopped at 2000Mhz(9-10-9-26) and havent tried any higher yet. Some boards get weak showing glitches at high OCs but this is very well made.
Cons: The IB i7-3770 heat spreader compoud reduces OCing sevierly reduces the potential of what you can get out of this board
i7-2700k much better
Other Thoughts: Hopefully Intel will make amends for a horrible mistakeREAD FULL REVIEW
