This review is from: Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse
Pros: Great looking mouse. In my opinion it's the best looking PC mouse logitech has ever made. Not as as round and whale-like as their new gaming mouses and much more modern looking. Has a simple and comfortable button layout, nice click feel, and amazing precision.
Cons: After about 2 years the scroll wheel started to become intermittent. I had to open the mouse and clean the wheel sensor. Seemed to fix the problem for a short while but now it's started doing it again. Two of the lights that show the level of sensitivity also burned out after about 2.5 years.
Other Thoughts: Still works great minus the scroll wheel. Wish the lights still worked as well, but it's not a huge deal.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Upgraded from a 6950 MSI TF3 and all I have to say is WOW! I thought my TF3 was high quality but this thing is freaking unbelievably high quality. Chose this primarily over the saphires with good reviews due to the fact that it didn't look as cheap and wasn't plastic. It doesn't sag at all despite it's bigger size compared to my old TF3. I was very skeptical to go with HIS since I previously owned a MSI gfx card with very high build quality and the fact that I didn't really seem to hear very much about HIS in general. It was between this card, a MSI 7950 TF3, Gigabyte 7950, or the 7950 saphires with the better reviews but I am soooo glad I chose this card...
The metal guard/cooler is thicker than the TF3 and looks a LOT better than the cheesy plastic ones on nearly every other card. The coolers fins are more like a car's condenser/radiator than the thick fins MSI uses, which I imagine is better for cooling given the surface area with the higher number of fins. The card is very solid and there was very little movement from the card/cooler during install.
Fired right up and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'll more than likely purchase another very soon.
Cons: Only con is that it is freaking HUGE! It's about 11 5/8" from where it rests against where the 2 removable PCI slot covers go, to the end of the card.
This isn't really a big deal though if you plan ahead and don't have a tiny case.
I ran into issues with it contacting the HD rack, but thankfully Lian Li makes a shorter rack which I'll be purchasing in order to fit this card and maintain space for multiple HD's. For now I'll put my single HD up next to my CD burner and take the rack out all together.
Other Thoughts: In all honesty, probably the nicest computer product I've ever purchased, hands down. I'm a very picky person and quality is key. I not only judge things on their function, but also their durability and looks. This thing is a winner in every category.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Never had any issues with the card over the last year and I've put it through hell. I play demanding games, mine, fold... etc.
I am really impressed by the build quality of the card and love the metal cooler cover. The plastic covers on most cars just look cheesy IMO.
Cons: None that I can think of. It's kinda heavy and sags if you don't tighten the screws while at the same time holding it level... but that's not really an issue.
Other Thoughts: Impressed by MSI this time around.READ FULL REVIEW
