Pros: None so far however that may change.
Cons: In the package is a "Switch Card". I find no reference to it in the manual. Also no way to contact manufacturer for support is listed in the manual. Lack of 1394 header on m/b.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Nero Multimedia Suite 10 Platinum HD
Pros: After doing everything but tearing my hair out, I have stopped trying to make it work on a machine with an AMD Phenom II 125w 6 core chip. Mine is on a Gigabyte mother board with 8Gs of ram. I firmly believe that it will not run in that environment.
Cons: Continuing from above the tech support was there but they didn't solve my problem. I went as far as to reformating the hard drive and reinstalling the who OS and Nero. NO DIFFERENCE! Nero Vision won't start! I bought 10 because I was so pleased with ver 7's ease of use. The companys management must have been changed - for the worse.
Other Thoughts: I must have spent twenty hours trying to correct the problem and that was a gross waste of time. I bought Sony Vegas and it installed on the first attempt.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Nero Mulitmedia Suite 10
Cons: I am totally disgusted with Nero Multimedia 10. From the installation procedure which is a nightmare because of your lack of resolution with NET framework problems to the plethora of other inconveniences. Your web site doesn't address them. Having used v7U and being very pleased with it I find both v9 & v10 a gigantic step backwards. Lack of user friendliness and little or no help clouds make things less straight forward. You have no choices in making a DVD that allows a simple, non template menu. I'm not impressed wit the fancy, artsie templates that are provided with no simple menu option. I do simple menus and I'm not impressed with 3D effects. Maybe someday I will need one but not for what I do now! I tried to make a movie and after searching for the place add a file, I added it but then I couldn't find it in the software. Oh, what has happened to the simplicity and straight forward use of v7. It was all there!
Other Thoughts: Finally I wanted to burn a file set to a DVD. The disk was a T. Yuden Premium and the burner was a LG Blu Ray. I have used these two brands reliably in the past without fail. I burned the 2 disks with v10 and although both verified good, I could not run them on any of my three DVD players all of which are made by different companies. When I burned the same file set with v9, there were no problems and both disks played in ALL three of my machines. Am I unhappy, YES! Am I dissatisfied, YES!READ FULL REVIEW
