This review is from: Nippon Labs HDB-5250 3.5" HDD Plastic Bracket Black Color
Pros: I finally got it to work but with much effort and not the best of results.
Cons: The mounting holes and the mounting screws are not in standard locations. If your case doesn't allow you "full range" of screw placement you'll have to do what I did and get a drill and drill through the plastic sides of this adapter to make it fit. Not only that but the package of screws included with the adapter are NOT standard thread screws. Don't try screwing them into your hard drive less you strip out the holes on the side of your expensive drive.
Other Thoughts: While I finally got it to work for me I had to invest time in marking and drilling out holes in the side of the adapter. I also had to buy more mounting screws as the ones included in the kit are worthless to me. Not only that but my Antec case uses quick-release slide bars for the 5.25" bays and even with the careful precision drilling I did, the sliders don't "click" into place quite as they should. There is still some play in the mounted drives. I would look for a different adapter if I had to do it again.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The product is as advertised. Nice, transparent, and tough.
Cons: None noted, but I haven't put it to the test yet. The test will come in the summer sun at the beach when I see if the anti-glare product works as advertised. My bet is it will do just fine.
Other Thoughts: When I bought my wife her expensive iPad mini there was NO WAY I wasn't going to spend a couple extra bucks to put a shield over the screen. My experience has shown this to be "cheap" insurance for expensive hardware.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Coboc 25 ft. gold plated, High speed HDMI to HDMI A/V Cable (Black)
Pros: The connectors fit snugly into the HDMI receptacles on my laptop computer, my raspberry PI and my digital television. Also, the cable is lightweight and easy to store back in the bag. I guess it could be used as a clothesline if necessary.
Cons: I can't get a clean image with the cable. Connecting the laptop to the television over the holiday I got green dots ALL OVER the screen when trying to use skype to do a video call. That was my first experience with this cable. Today I tried to connect my new Raspberry Pi to the TV and, when first plugged in, SOMETIMES I'll see a FLASH on the screen that looks like a valid image, but then the screen turns black and stays black. And that's IT. The cable has no value to me.
Other Thoughts: I guess I will have to buy a different brand. This one won't work for me.READ FULL REVIEW
