Pros: Fast, fantastic screen, good quality
Cons: Vista Basic, slow hard drive, tons of bloat ware
Other Thoughts: Great machine, especially for the price. I can not recommend any of the other Atom based machine due to the screen size. This one is dual core and hyper threaded. Pretty zippy machine. Keep in mind though Vista basic sucks! And or it sucks on this machine, s l o w and locks up with IE8. XP would be my recommendation due to touch screen drivers needing to be manually installed on boot up if you remove MSI's giant bloat ware.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I have never seen a scanner go through documents as fast as this. When you press the scan button it starts scanning. There is no warm up time. I do not know if the ultrasonic double feed woks or not, I just know that I have not had one jam or scan more than one page while owning this (little over a week) . . . there is one problem with it though. You can replace the scanner wheel.
Cons: It only has one scan wheel, or it may be the ultrasonic scan double feed protection. The problem that this creates is if you have a “carbon copy” page this will tear it to shreds. There is a clear sleeve included with the scanner for such documents. You can also order more from Epson.
Other Thoughts: Over all I highly recommend this scanner, it’s probably the best out on the market right now. Additionally, check out Epson’s web page to see if they are offering additional mail-in rebates.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-638APB N300 Wireless Access Point
Pros: Cheap. High specs for the price. Is probably good for anything other than a point to point bridge. Paperweight?
Cons: Wireless point to point bridge in N mode is near impossible to correctly configure (have all security disabled for N). Kept forgetting settings. Uploaded the latest firmware and then it started working correctly with amazing speed . . . for about fifteen minutes and then stopped.
Other Thoughts: If you like to torture yourself then this is the perfect item for you! Poor documentation and buggy firmware for point to point bridge. Could not enable security for it to work and also unstable. Spend some extra money on something better. I know I will in the future.READ FULL REVIEW
