This review is from: AFT XM-37U USB 3.0 3.5” Kiosk Card Reader
Pros: Was easy to install and cable up, no software needed for normal usage, fits an old floppy bay perfectly. Media is limiting factor for speed.
Works great, when it works...
Cons: Doesn't come with a 5.25" bay adapter, which I'd expect for this (high) price.
Seems to have an issue staying connected. I'll be playing a game or listening to music when I hear the familiar windows device disconnected/connected bong sounds. Took me a while to figure out what was causing this until I happened to notice one day that the empty drives went missing from explorer, then came back in time with the bongs. I've owned the XM-37U for almost 3 months now so I suspect returning it would be a lot more trouble than it's worth, so I wouldn't recommend buying this card reader.
This review is from: PNY Attache 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive - Bulk Pack Model FD32GATT2
Pros: Was a good deal a year ago
Cons: Not USB 3. It's not worth buying USB 2 devices any more.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LSI LSI00297 CacheVault Accessory kit for 9266-4i and 9266-8i--Avago Technologies
Pros: Small, 5 minute job to install
Cons: Took a little while for the raid card to recognize that it had a "battery" attached before it would enable write back, but you can force write back while you wait.
Other Thoughts: This product lists as "for 9266-4i and 9266-8i" but it is for a much larger range of LSI MegaRAID cards. Just to go LSI's website and search for LSI00297 to see the full list. I'm using mine with an 9271-8i. I've not had to use it yet but the MegaRAID card recognizes it and says it's in good working order.READ FULL REVIEW
