Pros: Bought to play Elite Dangerous after seeing a video review. Worked right out of the box and mapping additional functions was pretty simple. Barely have to use the keyboard as far as ship functions are concerned. I even had room to map a couple of power distribution modes. The base has a molded slot that holds an allen wrench that can be used to separate the stick and throttle.
Cons: The cord between the stick and throttle could be longer. If you want a center stick setup it's fine but if you like side-stick forget it. An extra foot of cord or even one that could be easily changed out would earn the full 5 eggs.
Other Thoughts: I have to say it felt kinda cheesy out of the box but after a bit of game-play I stopped noticing. I bought this because I wanted to get started in Elite Dangerous but couldn't afford the $150+ offerings from other companies. However I will be upgrading to a brand that uses a removable ps2 cable to link the 2 controllers to accommodate my preferred setup.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Beautiful pictures. Fits in the slot it is supposed to. Whisper silent *.
Cons: * My definitions of both whisper and silent must be way off. The hardest thing it has to tackle is WoW. The first 970 crashed (black screen requiring 2 reboots per occurrence) frequently. However it was quiet when it functioned. It was a refurb so I blamed myself for going on the cheap and this time I bought a new retail boxed card. This card does not crash but runs at 80 plus degrees with the fans running at take-off speeds. (P.S. I know full well I can limit the fan speeds and trigger points but not going to at 80 degrees).
Other Thoughts: My EVGA 660 still runs like a dream. It's a shame their 970's have been a nightmare.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Superb when it worked. A significant improvement over the 660gtx it was supposed to replace.
Cons: After the first week it started crashing. Reboots the entire system but won't reinitialize without a 2nd intentional restart of the system.
Other Thoughts: Well let's see what the return process is like.READ FULL REVIEW
