Working great
Pros: USB 3, SATA3, AM3 socket. Very up-to-date motherboard
Cons: 4 pin plug for CPU power is located at the very top of the board, making it a long run for cases with bottom mounted power supplies.
Quiet but so slow
Pros: The drive is very quiet. I can't hear anything from it in my HP nc8430
Cons: So slow it is horrible to use. Max burst speeds of 33 MB and much slower during real use. Makes Vista almost unbearable to run with.
Great lens for creative shots
Pros: Being able to shoot at F1.8 is amazing for low light situations and some very nice Depth of Field play. Very good for Bokeh as well. Put it on some extension tubes and get some amazing macro shots.
Cons: Focus ring if very skinny. With a UV filter on the front, I'm constantly trying to adjust focus with the wrong part.
Overall Review: If you are trying to take some creative shots, this is a great way to get an inexpensive lens that will let you go beyond point and shoot.
Great memory for VMware
Pros: Running 32 GB in each of my 3 ESXi servers for VMware. HP BL460c Blade Servers. No issues to report
Cons: None
Silent and fast
Pros: I was worried about the fan noise with this card, but no worries. It is silent at idle and silent at full load. My previous card would start to whine when under a load, but this card is staying quiet throughout. I am assuming it is spinning faster under a load, but I can't hear a difference
Cons: Very long card. My case specifically mentioned it could accept longer cards, and I need every inch of it. There is less than 1/2 inch gap between the back of the card and the hard drive slot. Just enough room to plug in the power cables. NOTE: This card uses two PCI-Express power cables. My SLI ready power supply is using both power cables to run this single card
Overall Review: The card does come with two 4 pin Molex to PCI-Express power ports in case your power supply does not have two plugs.
Modular but not in all cases
Pros: Sleek look. Carrying case for extra cables when not in use. Very quiet
Cons: As other reviewers have pointed out, this PSU has both a 4 pin and 8 pin CPU cable that cannot be removed, resulting in needing to tuck one of them since I can't use both and they aren't modular. The 4 pin cable for the CPU was nearly not long enough since it is mounted at the bottom of my case and the plug was at the top of the motherboard. I ended up having to stretch it over the video card, and it just barely made it. If the video card was any taller, it would not have fit.
