Pros: Two thumbs up. It looks to be an execellent product. Great design and build quality. Fast transfer speeds. Good non-stick feet keeps it from sliding too much.. Nice long USB 3 cable unlike others. This was a good buy for what I needed it for.
Cons: I haven't had time to dive into it too deep but when I plugged it into my USB port, W7 didn't have a driver for it. This is fine since it comes with a small CD and I haven't looked for one on their website if they have one.
I went to install the driver but I wasn't given a choice to only install the driver. I was only allowed to install the backup software from the CD which seems to include the driver. I'm not interested in this backup software since I use my own.
When have a few mins, I'll uninstall the software and see if the driver goes away. They should give me the option in the software setup GUI to just install the driver if I want.
Not sure what I'll do if the driver goes away since I refuse to keep software on my machine that I specifically don't want or use. I'm not going to leave their backup software installed just to support the driver.

Pros: I needed a USB2.0 port for an old PC that I was resurrecting. It only had a USB1.0 which took forever to load even a small file from a USB stick. I installed this card, turned the PC on, after XP found it and installed the default Windows drivers, it works great. Two thumbs up.

This review is from: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
Pros: Does what I wanted it to do which is add a hole for external speakers without having to unplug my headphones all the time
Cons: Really difficult to install the drivers. Software is really poorly written. Got into a loop trying to install the same driver over and over although it said that it was successful each time. Basically gave up then after I rebooted a couple of times, W7 came up and finally said that the SB Audigy driver installed correctly. Then Audigy wanted to go out and update it. Didn't trust it so I declined.READ FULL REVIEW
