Pros: 4 sli ready, 64gb and the flash update allows me to run all the new intel cpus. Entirely too much to list. It is eye candy and decent performance numbers to support it.
Cons: Was technical support. I had one board bad right away. I didn't buy the extended warranty from retail store. The system wouldn't see over 48gb even though there was 64gb in the machine. I went round and round with asus tech support who blamed it on the memory company. It ended up being the motherboard issue. But it was out of the 30 day return policy from the store. I ended up buying another one to run two machines but bought the extended warranty. In the end, I had to use asus advance replacement at 45 days old. Talk about angry, now the board audio has failed and now I can't use the advanced replacement from asus. This is a big turn off. I'm so sick of asus excuses why they won't offer me the best option to replace the board. They told me I already used it and the policy says only once. I said, if they provided me with the proper answer the first time instead of taking two weeks to realize the board was bad instead of the memory, I would of returned it.
Other Thoughts: The asus customer service has been a pain, period.. Bottom line, you only get one advance replacement option and it is a refurbished board. Asus says you can't use it again, even though the board has 3 years warranty left. So if you don't want any downtime, consider buying another brand who honors their advance replacement option more than once because things happen. Very disappointed about asus allowing the best service available for the customer. They just don't seem to care. one week to get a response. I filed a complaint and they gave me some policy. Simply, customer service is everything. I don't expect anything less and asus simply doesn't care.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent color, affordable price 18 months ago. Leaps ahead of the competition for value per performance.
Cons: This is the third time my monitor died in 18 months. Always seems to be the power input fails (built in power converter) in simple terms.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is a high resolution monitor 2560x1440. Color is crisp, no dead pixels. I play all types of games from 1st person to MMO. There isn’t any ghosting in the monitor on any game. In my opinion the anti-glare coating isn’t as bad as people mention. The 12ms seems high but other monitors have a terrible input lag which is visibly noticeable. I run this monitor under dual 4870x2 video cards.
Cons: HP, they didn't honor their extended warranty 6 years ago and I said I would never buy another HP product. Low and behond, the monitor died less than 3 months. Disapointment ever since HP aquired Compaq.
Other Thoughts: I bought the monitor from another vender late December 2011. Newegg just started carrying it.READ FULL REVIEW
