Pros: Although my con section will be long, this laptop does exactly what I want it to do. It's a great machine for someone who wants something nice for work but is a little more serious about gaming than most. This laptop will do that for you without throwing down $800+ for a dedicated gaming laptop. 6GBs of RAM, the i5 and the 730M make this a good deal if you're looking for a semi-serious gaming laptop like I was. I wanted something that I could work on yet play more than solitaire on. Plays LoL just fine at max with 60 fps, however I will note that it only plays SC2 at medium and with the big screen it's kind of noticeable quality wise but not so much that it would turn me off from it. The screen is huge and it looks fine. I've seen other reviews say they needed to adjust the screen but I didn't see a need to for mine. Colors are sharp and the picture is good. The numpad included on the keyboard is also a big bonus, as someone who is used to typing numbers out on the numpad opposed to the number row, this addition is really nice. It's pretty light and the backpack that came free with the laptop does a great job of helping me haul it around.

Cons: Glossy case, fingerprints will be everywhere. Comes with a whole bunch of bloatware. It's pretty easy to get it all uninstalled or not to launch on startup but it does come with a lot of garbage. The track pad isn't as smooth as you would expect a laptops to be. It seems to of gotten better the more I've used it but right out of the box my fingers weren't smoothly moving around on it. Another note about the track pad is its location. It's located a little to the left of the center of the keyboard. This has been a little annoying to me because when I type the base of my left thumb keeps hitting it causing the cursor to click on whatever it's over. I believe you can disable the track pad but it's just something to note. The last little thing I'll note are the arrow keys. They are pretty tiny, so if you use them a lot for gaming or what-have-you then I would just be aware. Luckily I have skinny fingers so it's not a huge deal for me but I can see someone with bigger fingers having a problem with them.

Overall Review: I didn't mention Windows 8 in the con like most because I knew it was going to be on this laptop. Honestly, I planned on scrapping Windows 8 but as an IT person I figured that I should get to know a little bit about it and so far it's been a pleasant experience. I think if people give 8 an honest chance then you'll be surprised that it's not as bad as what people talk about. However, if you don't like it then just slap 7 on it and it should be just fine. Overall I really enjoy this laptop as something I can take to work and use as well as game in my down time as well. Great laptop for those looking for a good laptop to game on without throwing down $800+.
