Pros: There are a slew of excellent options. The interface is organized and user-friendly.
I love the 2.4/5.0GHz separate account option. It hasn't crashed on me once in a month.
My ping to server on speedtest is 3ms without a router, and with router installed it was 4ms. (I have 95Mbps up/down transfer rate with my ISP).
I have read about a lot of crashing issues and deteriorating wireless range after time with this router. It might be a firmware issue, not sure. Only time will tell if this happens to me. Crossing my fingers, but so far it works like a charm!
Cons: So far, no cons. I will update if I come across any problems. I haven't even tried the USB ports yet. But I don't really need to. I got it for security and speed.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Patriot Supersonic Magnum 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model PEF128GSMNUSB
Pros: Love 128GB on-the-go.
Transfer rates are consistent between 80-130MB per second depending on the file (copying from an SSD).
I've transferred about 400GB on and off the device already with no issues.
Cons: It's quite wide. I am sure some of the reason is to "show off", but if you need space between other USB ports, it might be an issue. I don't have that, so I can't really complain too much.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE1T0BW 2.5" 1TB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: This thing is fast (like all other SSDs) I've owned, and I am so happy to have 1TB of space!
It replaced a 120GB SSD on my laptop. I got tired of external HDDs.
I copied over 200GBs from two USB 3.0 external HDDs at the same time, and the transfer rate was between 80-110MB/s - on both drives at once.
It's a thinner top/bottom profile than my other drives, but it fit fine in my laptop. Just in case (but not necessary), I added a little bit of duct tape "padding" to even out the distance from the case to the drive inside the bay.
If you already have your computer set up with AHCI mode, then the mirror software works perfect. If not, well... that's where a con comes in.
Cons: - When I installed my first purchase of this drive about a month ago and put it into my PC, it didn't properly mirror my previous set up. However, I'm a special case I'm sure. I had two OCZ Vertex 3 256GB SSDs in RAID 0 configuration. After the drives were imaged, I put in the Samsung and everything was corrupted.
Luckily, I'm super-redundant about backing up files, so I merely had to reinstall Windows and all my software, but any time you're going to mirror a hard drive, be ready for it not to work.
That's a small complaint, though, and I don't consider it a reason for taking off one egg.
Also, it mirrored PERFECTLY for my laptop and that was great!
