Pros: Great for a color scheme driven build.
Cons: Not exactly a con but something to be aware of: the black shrink wrap near each of the power connectors are kind of stiff . It would be recommended to have at least 1-1.5 inches between your hard drives. When they're too close, the stiffness of the cable being plugged in to adjacent drives will put pressure on the connector on the hard drive and those are kind of flimsy.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LOGISYS Computer CLK15WT 15" White Deluxe Sound Activated Cold Cathode Kit
Pros: In my first build I had blue LED's because I thought it was super cool but after a few years I thought it looked kinda tacky. Rather than drown out all your internals with crazy blue light, this cathode gives a clean white light, which I find to be much classier. Definitely brings out your motherboard/cable color scheme if that's what you're trying to go for.
Cons: The rectangular light controller module is annoying as you have to find somewhere to put or hide it. It is clear and has a somewhat bright blue LED in it, which was what I was trying to get away from. But you can just get some electric tape and cover it. If you are trying to go for a super clean build with no protruding wires, the module and the relatively short wire lengths of the cathode, the power and switch) may be tricky to hide.READ FULL REVIEW
