Nice, Solid Cable

SYBA SD-DVIDL-MM-6 Black DVI-D Male to DVI-D Male Cable, Gold Plated Connector, RoHS
SYBA SD-DVIDL-MM-6 Black DVI-D Male to DVI-D Male Cable, Gold Plated Connector, RoHS

Pros: Nice solidly constructed cable adequate length works fine for me in Dual-link setup and I liked the white connectors. The screw length worked fine for me so long as I solidly seated the connectors and worked both screws equally not torquing to one side or the other.

Cons: No real cons to this product.

Overall Review: The "Dual-Link" spec isn't intended to route DVI-D to DVI-I or vice versa which I suspect is the problem for some reviewers, it means the cable can operate as either DVI-D or DVI-I so if you jacked up and have a DVI-I to DVI-I setup and order this DVI-D cable it'll still work but if your source is DVI-D and your display is capable of only DVI-I of course this cable won't work.

What a let down

HP 17.3" Laptop - 11th Intel Core i5 -1155G7 - 1080p - Windows 11 Notebook 17-cn1053cl 12GB RAM 1TB HDD

Pros: Reasonable price, looks great, screen size is nice.

Cons: Extremely slow, has trouble launching any application, forget multitasking, not sure if it's HP bloatware or something in the settings, but this was a downgrade in performance compared to a four year old model i5.

Overall Review: Pass on it, there are significantly better laptops out there.

Mostly decent

ASUS PRIME Z590-P LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS PRIME Z590-P LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Respectable board, decent features, decent value as part of a combo with the CPU

Cons: Not entirely the board's fault but a couple more PWM connections would have been nice. The one major headache, which docks the egg, was getting the Ethernet port working in Linux. No real support options from ASUS and realtek wasn't a ton better, thankfully I had another computer to work with but it was a tad obnoxious for it to work properly on half of a dual boot system without searching forums.

Overall Review: For most users, a good balance of cost and performance. Linux users, be prepared for some initial headaches but once it runs, it's fine.

Nintendo Wii Zapper
Nintendo Wii Zapper

Pros: Worth the $20 for the game it came with. Fits the standard remote and nunchuck perfectly. Works great if you don't need to use the nunchuck extensively.

Cons: Next to useless in games such as COD or Resident Evil. Does not fit after market nunchuck controller very well and there really isn't too much of a difference in size Pretty poor construction by Nintendo's standards. Personally, I thought the bloody thing was just awkward and uncomfortable to hold for any length of time (I do have fairly thick wrists though.).

Overall Review: All told, I loved Link's Crossbow Adventure, but I'm a TLOZ fan. Probably works fine in simpler FPS games, and it's probably better suited to younger gamers with smaller hands (and wrists) than myself. Also would have like some checkering on the grips but that's me being picky.

intec Wii Mini Controller
intec Wii Mini Controller

Pros: It is fairly ergonomic, which comes in handy because I may need the extra grip to chuck this thing across the room. The wireless feature was nice for the 30 minutes this product worked, it synced almost instantly...at first.

Cons: Poor construction, no apparent quality control. The "Z" button failed to work out of the packaging, which I foolishly discarded. The "L" and "R" buttons barely made contact with their boards and acted like instant relay switches so you couldn't hold" L" or "R" as required in many games, not to mention the fact that they barely worked so you had to mash the buttons to make the contact. The contacts for the battery was actually slipped behind the plastic backings which had resulted in intermittent battery contact.

Overall Review: All told, don't waste your money on this product, go to your local brick and mortar and buy something of better quality because the headaches this thing caused weren't worth it, I'm glad I got it with a gift card or I'd be more upset. The company takes such pride in this little beauty that no point of contact for customer service is listed in the documentation, other than where to send defective products, this makes me hesitate to try and get a replacement unit.
