Pros: Fast! Efficient! Due to boost 3.0, it boosted to 1911 mhz out of the box.
Size was not an issue...was smaller than my asus 290x.
Easy to OC and plenty of performance for 4K 60 fps at limited settings
Cons: I am not overly impressed with the custom PCB and 10 phase voltage regulators. I dont see a point in putting premium components on a card that is locked at a lower voltage limit equal to a low grade card. I see the same limits of a founder edition and the same limited OC. Generally I do see an impressive 2038 but, some games ask for more voltage and could drop the card to 2000 mhz. Still thee clocks could be worse but, with the head room provided by the PCB, I expect better. I paid for a premium and would like that to be reflected in temp limitation and VR headroom. Instead I have throttle at 58c and voltage limits of a founders edition.
Other Thoughts: windows 10 64
4690k @ 4.5
8gb 2133 ram
ASRock z97 ex4
seasonic 750w gold
I do notice a bit more CPU draw with the NVIDIA, as compared to my AMD that I replaced. Also, the image does not seem as crisp compared to my AMD 290x. With that said, what I am able to accomplish with the 1070 is impressive and I would not hesitate to recommend this card to others. Many games I have tested can reach 60 fps 4K with anti-alliasing and ambient occlusion turned off.
I will remain hopeful that MSI removes the limits on some of their cards with a bios update...at least the cards they provided 10 phase regulators with. I find it sad that the difference between the gaming cards is merely 10s of mhz in a bios OC...there is no certainty that the cards will OC better than a lower grade model.
This review is from: Sunpentown SD-350 MINI Dehumidifier
Pros: Its small, discrete and quiet. Mainly because, it doesn't have the parts of a real "Dehumidifier".
Cons: Does not effectively remove humidity. The advertised description of this products capability leads the buyer to believe it's a solution.
Other Thoughts: I had bought this item to sit next to my Chimney, in the attic. Had some water issues and after fixing the problem, I hoped this would help with the moister that remained.
After 24 hours in the attic and only a dew drop of water in the reservoir, I moved it to the basement to see how it works. I have a dehumidifier already doing a great job in the basement, removing 2 liters of moister daily. Figured this would be a great test.
After 24 hours running the SD-350 in the basement, with all other equipment turned off, it did nothing for the humidity. The quality of air was terrible and the amount of moister collected in the reservoir was laughable in comparison to what the existing dehumidifier could do. In 24 hours the SD-350 managed to pull 6 oz of water from the basement air! Terrible!
This is not worth the time or money. I honestly can't think of one purpose for this thing. It blows hot air and has no condenser. If you have a cabinet with a moister issue.....fix the leak LOL! This thing is no solution.
This review is from: EVERCOOL SB-RV Ever Lubricate Rocket V system cooler
Pros: It moved plenty of air over my GPU
Cons: It became unstable after a few months. Unbalanced and rattling. I tried adding more grease and cleaning, in an attempt to rebalance...nothing helped it. I believe the center shaft becomes loose, resulting in wable.
Other Thoughts: Dont buy this. It appears, at best, you rent its usefullness for a few months....Then try to return it or toss it in the garbageREAD FULL REVIEW
