Pros: This puts out an incredibly bright image. The picture is incredible!
Ease of use with remote.
Cons: It is only black. White option would have been nice.
Other Thoughts: It is being used as a permanent mount, video source for a church audio/video install.
Utilizing HDMI connectivity, video playback is very impressive. Set it up to throw on a 150" screen. Theater quality video, even with ambient light.
Have not used it for 3D.
This review is from: Tripp Lite HDMI over Cat5 Extender B125-150
Pros: Works as advertised. An affordable solution for a long hdmi video run. Gives a great picture paired with our projector. Still working 2+ years later!
Cons: Having to terminate your own Cat5e cables! Not really a con.
Other Thoughts: We did a church installation of sound and video and utilized the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824116467 for our video source. Mounting this projector in the old, high ceiling church meant we could not get close enough to the video source for an HDMI run. Overall we have around 85 feet from our sound/video booth to the projector.
Had fun running the cables through the attic (I guess you would call it that) in the old church (built 1928). There was probably around 12ft of head room in there! Could be another storey for the building! They really overbuilt things back then...built for keeps!
Pros: This fit the bill for maxing out an aging system. Bios recognized all four sticks (2 pair) fine.
I got a steal on my purchase apparently. I ordered about about month ago and they were $44.
Cons: Looks like the price of DDR2 is going up, up, up! I am going to need some more in the future for another rig. Hopefully the prices will at least stay where they are and not go up any further!
Other Thoughts: Mine are green. =-(
I really like the blue look.
