Pros: Replaces an old mini-computer I purchased on Newegg many years ago. It is blazing fast in comparison, and will display in 1080 while keeping up with he number of frames required. Amazing what it will do, for a hundred bucks!
Cons: Was built with too little concern for OSs other than Window 7 or 8.1. I chose to run it in Ubuntu 14.04. The WiFi will not continue to handshake in this OS, so I was forced to connect to an Ethernet wire in order to make it work. It now does everything I want, until I attempt to shut it down. Still have to pull the power plug. I suspect it is still locking up due to the incomplete design/support of the Wifi.
Other Thoughts: Will have to look for a BIOS update. Many folks purchase these little computers for lesser purposes and don't want to spend just as much money for an overly bloated OS. Ubuntu uses up a little over 6 gigs on the installed 120 gig SSD. The bottom line is that I am happy with the purchase, however. This little fella delivers what I desire.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Had lots of fun cutting and soldering these to replace old-fashioned interior automotive and RV filament lamps. Now I won't have to pay way too much money for crummy glass bulbs. Might purchase another strip, and experiment with exterior applications. I bet these can be made waterproof by coating them with clear fiberglass resin after installation. Found it easy to cut and solder, using scissors and scraping solder points with a cutting blade.
Cons: Adhesive is not that great. Had to use additional contact cement on some of the applications.
Other Thoughts: Do not hesitate to purchase. You'll have lots of fun, if you enjoy tinkering.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Wife uses this in her home office, since her company doesn't allow additional software on their computers. It keeps her entertained with streamed music all day long. Works well with an additional 22 inch 1080 monitor, blue tooth keyboard, and bluetooth mouse. Never thought about it before, but love the way it stays on for hours if the power grid goes down. Everything still operates the same as day purchased.
Cons: Sometimes has difficulty communicating with the home wi-fi, but I believe it is the fault of the home wi-fi. Would be much more difficult to use without the bluetooth devices, therefore loss of one star.READ FULL REVIEW
