5 out of 5 eggs A great and QUIET graphics solution 12/26/2011

This review is from: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6450 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card ( 100322L)

Pros: Got this to help breath some more life into an older system that had been using embedded graphics. The result is positively great -- it's absolutely quiet (no fan), it performs well enough to handle even light gaming, and it doesn't really cost much.

Cons: None.

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBNT
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Got this SDRAM to help get breath some more life into an older 32-bit system for my wife. Plugged it in and brought the system up without any issues. The 32-bit Windows XP can't see all of the 4 GB, but that is as expected.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is a great way to max out an older 32-bit system that only has two SDRAM slots.

5 out of 5 eggs Handier than I thought it would be 12/26/2011

This review is from: Rosewill REGD-TN439L0 Infrared Thermometer

Pros: Easy to use, gives real-time readings as long as the trigger is held down. Holds and displays the last temperature reading for a while after you let go of the trigger. Automatically shuts off after a few seconds. Battery life should be good.

Cons: The only thing I wish was different is that the laser is aimed lower than the pistol grip would suggest, so you end up pulling the trigger and then moving the laser dot over to where you want it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as something to just have some fun with, but it's turning out to be much more useful than expected. The ability to get real-time temperature readings as you sweep the laser dot over things is great -- you can actually find areas that are hotter or cooler.
