Pros: Blistering performance, runs cool, Z87 chipset is nice.
Cons: None I can think of
Other Thoughts: I got my 4770k in 2013 (Dec 28 to be exact) and have had it for a year an a month almost. It tears through any video editing or rendering I throw at it. Gaming @ 1080p is superb with a GTX 780 Dual FTW. Runs cool at idle and load. Temps at idle with a H100i are about 31 C and it loads at about 63-66C depending on how warm my room is. Would recommend it to anybody.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: 8320 idle temp - 33 C
8320 load temp- ~63 C
Relatively quiet at low and medium load
Easy aftermarket fan install
Cons: Pretty big, barely fit in my budget Antec VSK-4000E case
Other Thoughts: Excellent cooler for the money. If you use it in your main rig (not like me) expect to have to replace the fan within a year of ownership.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm
Pros: 4770k temp at idle is below 35 C, load temp is around 55 C.
Cons: Noisy fans. I replaced them with some Noctua's so I'm not going to -1 egg.
Other Thoughts: Bought this cooler to replace my dying Cooler Master V8. Very satisfied with the purchase. This cooler had originally cooled an AMD FX-8320 running at 4.2GHz and my temps were 32 C idle and 52 C load. I recently bought a 4770k and my temps at idle are around 34-36 C idle and 55-60 C load. Haswell is a HOT chip.
Would recommend to any of my friends.
